TUTORIALS for creating torn paper using torn edge overlays from this website: PLEASE NOTE - these instructions generally use the "magic wand" for the "tear overlay" *.png files. In March 2007 I added LAYERED TEMPLATES for PS and PSP users (*.psd and *.psp) as well as "fillable grey areas" (*.png for DIP users). At this time I do not have instructions or tutorials on how to use those BONUS / FREE template files. I created them because there was so much interest in using a "clipping mask" in Photoshop (don't think Paint Shop Pro has this) and for DIP users there isn't a "magic wand" tool, but it is easier to "FILL" with the paper into a "grey area." I hope to create tutorials for the templates soon. And, remember, you can always still use the magic wand, which I really find fast in PSP. STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS which follows along with the "FREE TO TRY" free downloads, screen clips are included, written by Steph:
Additional TUTORIALS: TUTORIAL: RECOLORING A PAPER TEAR OVERLAY TO MATCH YOUR PAPER (PSP9) (2/1/06) TUTORIAL: USING THE CLOSED SHAPED PAPER TEAR OVERLAYS FROM THE STORE (i.e. rectangles, hearts, circles, scraps, alpha letters, arrows, ...) (PSP9) (4/1/06) |
